In Zandonick, Donnicia, the sun was scorching hot in the month of July.

A furious roar suddenly erupted in the Linister Villa.

"Dad, what did you say? You want me to get married? Are you so poor that you have to sell your daughter? Aren't you afraid of being despised by the world? Doesn't your conscience hurt?"

Vera Linister, who had just finished her exams and returned home for the holidays, received a serious joke.

She kept accusing her father, Warren Linister.

He thought, 'The girl in the photo looks elegant and her eyes are bright. How could that sweet-looking girl transform into the greasy-haired, pimple-covered, smelly person standing before me?'

At that moment, Shawn was grateful that his second son Patrick Olteran hadn't come. He thought, 'If Patrick was here, he definitely wouldn't agree to this marriage.'
