Chapter 2

Rachel's heart skipped a beat, and she struggled to regain her composure amidst the overwhelming pleasure.

She gritted her teeth and spoke up, "I'm fine. I just slipped when I came out of the bathroom. Don't come over."

Her words were broken and hesitant.

Isaac was skeptical. "Are you really okay?"

"Really." Rachel held back tears. "I'm just a bit tired and want to rest."

Isaac relented, "Alright, if you need anything, call me."

Isaac fell silent.

But Rachel didn't know what had provoked Kevin. Suddenly, he showed no mercy, grabbing Rachel and forcing her to face him.

His strong hands nearly bent Rachel's legs into a straight line as he began to thrust aggressively.

Kevin's demands were fierce and relentless, leaving Rachel completely defenseless. Within just a few minutes, she had climaxed twice, and as she was nearing exhaustion, he began his final thrusts.

The pleasure built up in layers, and Rachel grabbed his arm, her nails digging deep into his flesh.

Kevin winced in pain and leaned down to bite her nipple hard, releasing himself completely.

The hot semen triggered another orgasm for Rachel, like fireworks exploding in her mind, leaving her in a daze. Instinctively, she wanted to snuggle into Kevin's arms, just like their old times.

But before she could recover, Kevin abruptly pulled away.

The coldness hit her like a bucket of ice water, extinguishing the brief moment of intimacy and passion.

Rachel looked up slightly, watching Kevin as he stood by the bed, dressing and mocking her, "You really live up to being the top girl in the red-light district."

Rachel's eyelashes trembled, and a bitter feeling slowly spread through her heart.

Four years had passed, and now Kevin was the son of the wealthy Smith family, while she was just a gold digger who had shamelessly married his father after leaving the red-light district.

The difference in their statuses was like night and day.

Kevin dressed neatly, his sharp and cold features appearing even more distinguished under the light, making the naked Rachel seem even more lowly and disgraceful.

He glanced at Rachel, casually grabbed a tissue to wipe his hands, and threw it away in disgust.

The tissue floated down and landed on Rachel's face, covering her vision. Two seconds later, the sound of the door closing pulled her back to reality from her brief dream.

Rachel let out a self-deprecating laugh and supported her sore body to go to the bathroom to freshen up.

When she came out dressed, a servant called her downstairs for dinner.

Rachel responded and went downstairs, finding Kevin sitting beside his girlfriend Abigail Wilson in the dining room. The two were talking softly, each with a gentle smile.

She felt a bit dazed, remembering that today was the day Kevin was supposed to bring his girlfriend home to meet the family.

When Rachel first heard it, she hadn't realized that the youngest son of the Smith family would be her first love. After all, back when they were together, he was just a poor boy working part-time to pay for his studies.

Until his familiar face appeared before her, Rachel was struck like lightning. She had fled upstairs under the pretense of taking a nap to calm her emotions, only to be followed by him and forced into sex.

"Kevin, will you go shopping with me later?" Abigail asked, gently shaking Kevin's arm.

Kevin checked the time and indulgently replied, "Sure, we'll go after dinner."

"I knew you were the best," Abigail cheered, her voice full of excitement.

Their natural and sweet interaction made Rachel think of their time dating.

Back then, she and Kevin were each other's first love. After trying sex, he became extremely enthusiastic about it, always finding ways to get her into bed, whether they were eating, shopping, or studying.

And now with Abigail...

Rachel's heart ached at the thought.

Dinner started quickly, and the Smith family was rarely all together. Isaac sat at the head of the table, on his left sat Ralph Smith, his eldest son, and Ralph's wife, along with their son Dennis Smith.

On the right was Rachel, followed by Kevin and Abigail.

Isaac had taken a nap and was in high spirits. He smiled and said, "It's rare for us all to have a meal together. Don't hold back, enjoy yourselves."

Ralph sneered, casting a disdainful glance at Rachel, and said, "It's a pity there's an extra person."

A woman from the red-light district, with a seductive appearance, shamelessly clung to his father, likely for money, not caring that he was an old man nearing the end of his life.

His words were pointed, and the table's attention subtly shifted to Rachel, who remained unfazed, simply adding a shrimp to Isaac's plate. "This shrimp looks good, honey, you should try it."

Kevin's eyes deepened, his hand on his knee showing bulging veins.

Isaac appreciated the gesture, smiling as he patted her hand, then turned to Ralph with a stern expression. "Alright, since I married her, she's your mother."

"From now on, don't talk about who's extra."

His health was poor, and after saying this, he started coughing violently. Ralph quickly stood up to pat his back, whispering, "I understand, don't get worked up."

"Mother?" Kevin's mocking voice rang out, "Just a woman from a brothel, and she wants to be my mother? Are you senile, or did she serve you so well?"

Rachel's face turned pale upon hearing his ruthless words.

She gripped her utensils tightly, her eyes downcast in embarrassment.

Rachel was indeed beautiful, and when she didn't speak, her pitiful and aggrieved appearance made Dennis's heart race.

He glanced at her and spoke up, "Uncle Kevin, Step-grandma didn't do anything wrong. There's no need to be so harsh."

"You're quick to defend her." Kevin's words were sharp, "What, did she serve you too?"

"My words are harsh? She can shamelessly climb into father's bed, but she's afraid of disrespect?"

Kevin's words were like needles piercing Rachel's heart.

She could tolerate any harsh words, but it hurt more because they came from Kevin.

Isaac waited for them to finish before slowly stopping his cough. "Enough, if you keep talking nonsense, get out."

He turned to Rachel. "Don't take it to heart. I'll deal with them later."

Rachel forced a smile. "It's okay. Our marriage was sudden; it's normal for them to have grievances."

Isaac smiled in relief and said no more.

The topic was dropped, and Rachel's hand under the table slowly clenched into a fist. She coldly laughed inside, knowing that if Isaac truly wanted to support her, he wouldn't have waited until they finished the conversation.

He probably wanted her to recognize her place.

The meal passed tastelessly.

Isaac soon felt tired and wanted to rest in his room. Rachel stood up to help him. "I'll accompany you."

"Alright." Isaac didn't refuse.

As they slowly walked towards the stairs, Rachel heard Kevin's mocking voice from behind, "It's late, you should stay."
